The Annual Day of the Primary and Pre-Primary Section of St. Isabel’s School was celebrated on Friday, 11th September 2026, with great enthusiasm and excitement. The theme of the programme was “Around the World Towards a Better World”, with the underlying message to Learn, Adapt, Care and Save Mother Earth.
The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by a graceful prayer dance presented by the students, creating a serene and auspicious beginning to the celebration. The Chief Guest, Sister Treasa Tinsy, Primary Headmistress of St. Mary’s High School, was then formally introduced and welcomed. She addressed the gathering with an encouraging and inspiring message for the students.
The academic achievements of the students were recognised through the felicitation of the prize winners and scholarship recipients. The students were applauded for their hard work and accomplishments. This was followed by an address by the Principal, who congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the support of the parents.
A PowerPoint presentation titled “The Year That Was” showcased the journey of the students throughout the academic year. It included glimpses of the various celebrations, competitions, activities, special events and other memorable moments that made the year meaningful and enriching for the students.
During the transition between the main segments, students of Standards III and IV presented poems as fillers, adding variety and entertainment to the programme.
The much-awaited finale was the thematic skit, “Around the World Towards a Better World.” Through a colourful journey across different countries and cultures, the students highlighted the positive practices and values that we can learn and adopt from around the world. The presentation brought everyone together with the important message that, despite our differences, Mother Earth is our shared home and it is our responsibility to care for, protect and save it.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, the school management, Principal, teachers, parents and students for their valuable contribution and support.
The Annual Day was a joyful celebration of talent, achievement, creativity and learning, leaving the audience with cherished memories and a meaningful message of working together towards a better world.
