Like every year, this year, all the students and faculty members of St Isabel’s High School organized a grand program on the occasion of this 75th Republic Day on our school ground. Everyone was feeling very happy because it was a matter of great pride for all of us because on 26th January 1950, the constitution of India came into force and our country, India, became a republic. The program started at 8:30 am. The chief guest of the day was Prerna Deshbhratar-Asst Commissioner at GST Mazagaon.
The chief Guest unfurled the tricolour flag . This was followed by the singing of the national anthem. Students also performed mime acts and even sang songs. The one most important part was the band performance and the marching of our students. On this day the campus of our school was decorated by the students with potted plants and balloons. The program ended with a vote of thanks creating a feeling of patriotism in each ones heart.
