We, at St. Isabel’s School, conducted the English Elocution Competition ‘Poetry Out Loud’ on 27th October, 2023 for students from standard I to IV. This is done annually in an attempt to promote English speaking skills in terms of pronunciation, delivery, voice modulation and to develop English in its spoken form.
Mrs. Bellezza Lobo Headmistress of Anza Special School and Mrs. Doreen Mesmen Teacher of Anza School obliged in being our judges for the same. Since poems selected by the children were varied and very enjoyable it was a difficult task for the judges to select the winners. The winners were felicitated with certificates. The confidence, expression and talent of the young ones made the event truly memorable.
